Welcome to Siberia

Siberia is conceived as a unique printmaking resource within London specifically oriented towards the creation of highly ambitious large scale and cross-media works. The members represent a diverse range of activities within the Printmaking community and anticipate an extensive exchange of ideas, feeding into and drawing from the wider public and artistic community.

Siberia is the brainchild of a close group of artists who graduated together from the Royal College of Art in 2005. They are Stine Ljungdalh, Renata Kudlacek, Mayumi Matsubara and Isambard Poulson.

Siberia's remit lies within a fusion of technical and conceptual excellence. It is a place that provides the necessary physical means for complex and demanding works to be made, as well as serving as a meeting point for artists, conferring the mental space for exchange of ideas and mutual support. This support may be internal, in form of talks and debates, but also transcends the space itself, acting as a springboard for exhibitions, events and other collaborative activities.
